Il aura fallu quatre ans pour construire le Marina Bay Sands, un hôtel casino pourvu d’une terrasse posée au sommet des trois bâtiments principaux… un complexe au design inédit..(Le Figaro-23.06.2010.)
Culminant à 200 mètres de haut et surplombant la baie Marina, l’hôtel casino abritera 2500 chambres, un centre commercial, un palais des congrès, plusieurs restaurants et bars, deux théâtres et un musée ultramoderne.
C’est la société américaine Las Vegas Sands, spécialisée dans l’industrie du jeu, qui a financé le projet pour un coût total de 5,7 milliards de dollars (4,6 milliards d’euros).
Une terrasse, longue de 340 mètres, repose au sommet des trois bâtiments principaux.
Cette gigantesque terrasse pourra accueillir 3.900 personnes sur ses 12.400 m² d’espaces verts et piscines.
